Skeleto-Dental Features Analysis of Iraqi Thalassemic Patients

There were no significant differences in skeleto ¿ dental morphology between the two thalassemic genders, Skeleto ¿ dental morphology in thalassemic patients is recognizable in comparison to normal subjects and differ in the following points. I.The ANB angle is highly significantly larger with class II skeletalpattern. II.Saddle angle is significantly smaller. III.Both articular and Gonial angle are significantly larger with vertical growth pattern. IV.The mandible is significantly shorter. V.The upper and total anterior facial height are highly significantly shorter. VI.The lower anterior facial height is significantly longer. VII.All the upper, lower and total posterior facial height are shorter. VIII.The inter incisal angle is highly significantly smaller. IX.Decrease 1-PP angle with protruded upper incisors. X.Correlations between angular and linear skeletal and dental measurements are varied between non significant to highly significant positive or negative correlations.
