SOCIO-CULTURAL ASPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN

The classification of tourism, its theoretical and methodological aspects and the main trends in the development of tourism in the modern period are analyzed; the development of the tourism sector and the institutional reforms implemented in this area are considered; the rich cultural and spiritual heritage and national identity of the Uzbek people are studied; recommendations are developed taking into account the consequences of the pandemic crisis in the tourism industry for the current period; the socio-cultural impact of tourism development in Uzbekistan is determined.
