Über Symbiotic Metabolonomics - Endosymbiotic Archaea and Porphyria
Archaeal endosymbiosis leads to increased porphyrin synthesis leading on to porphyrinuria and porphyria. The stimulus for porphyrin synthesis comes from heme deficiency. Heme suppresses ALA synthase. Stress induces heme oxygenase which converts heme to carbon monoxide and bilirubin. Thus heme is depleted from the system. Thus there is increased porphyrin synthesis from succinyl CoA and glycine. The increase in porphyrins leads to cortical dysfunction and prefrontal cortex atrophy. The porphyrins can destroy the human endogenous retroviruses and the jumping genes leading to lack of dynamicity of the genome. This leads on to maldevelopment of the prefrontal cortex. This leads on to cerebellar dominance and a cerebellar cognitive affective disorder. This produces porphyrin related quantal perception. This leads on to neanderthalisation of the brain and schizophrenia and autism.
