Über The Relationship b/n Organizational and Culture Knowledge Management
Organizational culture is one of the factors of success in the development and implementation of efficient knowledge management in an organization. Knowledge-based organization, like United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), need to nurture and sustain organizational culture that facilitate its knowledge management endeavors. Realigning organization culture parameters to knowledge management goals ensures the practice of sharing tacit knowledge. Recent trends explicitly revealed the paramount importance of cultural values on the way knowledge management processes are developed and applied in organizations. Therefore, organization whose services and products are knowledge-intensive need to build organizational culture that significantly support knowledge management. Primarily, it is important to identify organization-wide practices that kindle or hinder knowledge management which in turn impacts on organizational effectiveness. The purpose of this research is to demystify the empirical relationship UNECA¿s organizational practices and knowledge management process.
