Über Unconventional Ways of Performing Some Spectrometric Analyses
In this book is described a method of Flame emission analysis applying ethyl alcohol as a flame fuel instead of gas fuel. A method of Atomic absorption analysis is developed without using any light emitted source, such as hollow cathode lamp. The method is based on self absorption phenomenon that takes place in the flame. Flame emission intensity signal is measured and absorbance is calculated by a computer programme. Molecular absorption analysis in the visible spectrum is performed without measuring absorbance. A colour image of a test solution is taken with a digital camera and digital data of the image are processed by a computer programme. Two versions of this method of analysis are made, respectively with using polychromatic and monochromatic light source. Furthermore the method in its polychromatic version is applied for turbid solutions. Advantages of all methods developed are discussed. Possible future development of the methods created are also discussed. The book is designed for university professors, doctor¿s degree students, experienced and young scientific workers, ¿ etc. whose are interested in new Spectrometric methods of analysis.
