Unification of Science

Stephen Hawking wrote in his book "A Brief History of Time" that "If a complete unified theory (of physics) was discovered, it would only be a matter of time before it was digested and simplified and taught in schools, at least in outline. We should then all be able to have some understanding of the laws that govern the universe and are responsible for our existence." A complete theory would, by definition, affect everything in space-time. Affecting everything in time means people in any period would be able to learn how to intuitively access the knowledge of future centuries. So a book entitled "Unification of Science" is obliged to deal with many varied subjects - topics like unification's relation to Dark Energy, Dark Matter, cosmic expansion, E=mc2, motion of photons and gravitons, Quantum Gravity, "Imaginary" computers, education, reconciliation of science and religion, the human condition, Superconductivity, how gravitation can boost health, space-time propulsion, "light matter", etc. This book will appeal to anyone with an interest in any of the mentioned subjects. It's intended for the non-specialist reader, with the aim of keeping jargon and maths to a minimum.
