Über Using Some Parasitoids And Predators In Field Crops And Vegetables
Integrated pest management (IPM) programs are used worldwide for controlling agricultural pests by using the natural enemy agents. Therefore, the objectives of the present study are aimed to carry out the following points :- 1) Survey of certain predators inhibiting some field crops during two successive years at Dakahlia governorate. 2) Study the activity of B. argentifolii parasitoids in different field crops. 3) Survey of different groups of true spiders inhibiting some field crop during two successive years at Dakahlia governorate. 4) Study the biological parameters including incubation period, duration of immature stages, fecundity and longevity of Eretmocerous aegyptiacus female and male at 27±2oC and 60 ¿ 70% R.H.. 5) Determine biological characters including incubation period and duration of different spiderlings of Nurscia albomaculata female and male at 25±2oC and 50 ¿ 60% R.H. and the maximum daily consumption of all spiderling stages. 6) Study the reduction percentage of T. urticae by releasing Phytoseiulus macropilis on potato plants. 7) Study the reduction percentage of P. gossypiella by releasing Trichogramma evanescens on cotton plants.
