War and the Gospel

Can a Christian conscientiously take part in modern war, a war that would undoubtedly result in the utter annihilation of tens of thousands of innocent persons - possibly a large part of the entire human race? Many books and pamphlets have been issued on this subject, most of them utopian or idealistic in nature rather than Biblical. It is the Biblical realism of this book that makes it such a deep and prophetic contribution to the subject.
