Wound healing involves components like platelets, neutrophils, fibronectin, macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, keratinocytes, collagen, proteoglycans. It is also promoted by various growth factors such as platelet-derived growth factor, transforming growth factor, epidermal growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, fibroblast growth factor.
