Eleven

Love is a gamble. Both parties are vulnaerable, once they expose their hearts, in the hope that they will not be hurt as they attempt to travel together through this unforeseen journey. As humans, we desire to intertwine souls, united and enhanced. But, love is not always full of sunshine; sometimes it involves dark clouds....resulting in pain that we have tried so desperately to dodge. Is there a blueprint for the perfect relationship?
When love as we know it comes to a screeching halt, there is a grieving process; one that we all must endure. We become thoroughly acquainted with feelings of anger, disappointment, confusion and acceptance. I cannot speak on how that process feels for everyone. However, this is it how it feels for me to watch eleven years vanish into thin air...
