Learning and Going Further: Selected Classics and Modern Politics

The book departs from critical readings of key political ideas appearing in selected classical works and moves forward explicating author¿s political and social philosophy-sometimes in the form of minima scripta (short philosophical propositions). The discussion is structured around such analytical categories as scientific methodology and writing style, political participation, stability, change, state functions and actual means of political implementation including current practice. For, at the end of the day past ideas and practices are shown to be always consumable.
